Minecraft: Madam J's Castle

So I have been progressing on my castle in Minecraft: Xbox LiveVersion. The building itself is done, now to add the stuff inside the castle.

Hi again everyone!

If you don't know, Minecraft is one of my favorite games to play. Its an open world game with a block atmosphere. If you haven't heard of it or played it before, think of it as legos. You can build your own world,  or you can choose to survive in the world. You have health bar(If you run out of hearts you die, obviously) and a food bar(If you go hungry, you get exhausted). There are animals and other things to help you on your journey, as well as enemy spawns that are out to end your journey. Whether you choose to go on an adventure in search of The End or choose to build up to the sky's limit is up to you. That is what makes the game fun, its open world and leaves your mind open to the possibilities.

Personally, I like to create and build. I guess it is the artist in me. I have made a hotel and an amusement park, and as of now I am in the process of making a kingdom. Right now I am making the castle. Maybe soon I will show you all pictures.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game

I bought some points yesterday. I used them to buy Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game. I also bought Space Channel 9 Part 2, but that's for another day.

I like what I see so far. The art style is adorable for a beat'em up side-scroller. The game is fun, but you do have to do quite a bit of grinding to level up or get money. When you are a sucky player like me, its hard to grind to level up on your own. It takes quite a bit of time since my reflexes and skills aren't pro. So...I have died quite a bit. It is still fun though. I hate one of the enemies though, they just keep throwing stuff at you...bleh. I always end up hitting myself in the face trying to clear the stage of all the stuff.

Anyway, I'm not too far into the game yet, so I will let you know more on my progress in the future.

Persona 3 FES

I've been watching a play through of Persona 3 FES on YouTube  It looks really cool. I've been quite fond of rpgs, but I don't play many of them. I prefer to play video games that are multiplayer.

One thing is for sure, though. That game does look fun. Apparently you get to fight with these "personas" if one has the potential. There are many personas to choose from, and you can fuse personas to get new ones. The game also has nice anime cut scenes. 

Would I play it? Yes I would. Will I buy it? I don't really have the money, I'm fine with just watching it on YouTube.

Pokemon X and Y: My Thoughts

I am quite excited for Pokemon X(that is the version I want to get). I saw the Pokemon announcment and was amazed by the 3D graphics. I was totally convinced that I had to get a 3DS so I could get that game. Now that I have one, all I can do is wait.

The starters are quite adorable. I really want to get the fire starter, but my best friend and his brother are getting the fire and grass type. I might as well the water type. That way, when I take it to a day care, I can make eggs and we can trade around.

I want to get Pokemon X because of the legendary that I think will be in it. It looks like a deer with some dazzling horns. The Y-shaped bird looks cool too, but I want the deer one.

Intro

Hi everyone! Jelly's Game Zone will be a blog that talks about Video games that I like, as well as video games I look forward to in the future. I named it Minecraft is one of my favorite games, and it got me back into playing video games again. I don't have any useful information, so I hope you don't look me up in hopes for some good facts. If I did have any, I doubt that I am right anyway.
